WOW.. I haven't been on here for a LOOONG TIME!
So, i thought i'd try and give this a try.
My Cousin keeps telling me.. You should create a celebrity blog site! I'm sure you'll make something of it! Well, I haven't met anyone recently.. ;) Well, I DID Meet Nick Jonas, Some of the Jonas Brothers Band and the Wonder Girls when The Jonas brothers were here in Vegas on August 1st!
Well, reason behind this blog.. I guess is to share my experiences meeting them. maybe by chance there are some people out there that want to know about some people's experiencing meeting them. Ok, i think im repeating myself.
Anyways, that's the main goal of this blog.

Getting Lost...meeting Nick Jonas
I hope Nick/Joe/Kevin Get to read this. I wanted to first thank them as well cause, Without you and your music My cousin Allison and I wouldn't of had the most AWESOMEST Concert experience EVER! (well, JBWT ranks up there with *NSYNC's PopOdyssey & 98* Heat it up Tour!)
Anyways, let's get this story on a roll. I guess you can say ever since MARCH 2009 I've been looking forward to this concert on August 1st. Ever since they announced the date tickets went on sale during the last week of March, I wanted to go! And ever since then, I kept on ticking down the days until august 1st would arrive.
So, three weeks before hand, Mix 94.1 one of the Vegas radio stations was giving out tickets to see Honor Society and Jonas Brothers for the show here. Did I win? Nope. Then The following week, KLUC was randomly giving out tickets..and nope, no Luck on that. Then They wanted Vegas' #1 Fan, I did a video and Nope, didn't get picked.
So Saturday arrives.... August 1st.
Me and Alli were so excited the nite before we didn't sleep til like 3am. I think Alli didn't sleep til 4am. I had my batteries all charged up and ready, I deleted all my disney Pictures on my SD Card to make room for Jonas Brothers Concert JUST IN CASE. And just took it as it came.
My Life's motto: Carpe Diem - Seize The Day
To me that means, Be spontaneous! Don't plan everything. In the end, it will all work out!
So yeah, Saturday morning I was stressing out.. we needed to get snacks and drinks and food and all this stuff. Make sure we have some cash just in case we really get hungry. Besides, between us, we only had like 50 bucks in cash. We really didn't know what the day was going to bring.
So, We left the house around 1:30pm, stopped by walmart to pick up snacks / drinks. Then we were on our way to Mandalay Bay. The Night before we scouted out the place...haha. just to get a birds eyeview of where everything will be happening and when.
We arrive at Mandalay, Parked by Shark Reef. Over in that parking lot, They had all the tour busses and trucks that were part of the tour. We saw Honor Society's Big Red Clifford Bus as well as the others. And there was the Graffitied bus everyone signed!
So, With my handy dandy Gold Sharpie in hand, we Tagged the Bus like crazy! well, "@Zackoid was here" on the Door, on the back tire, on the front, made a smiley face on the winshield thingy, etc. :) that kinda thing.
Took pics, took our time and just dilly dally til we got to the box office. So yeah. We sat down.. right by will call, and just thought.. Hmm, what to do?
When we arrived we Heard Honor Society Play out at the Pool. I guess they did that instead of the Movie Screening at Town Square. So i was like.. Oh.. ok. cool.
Then we walked around the pool area. And I thought Hmm, I wonder, WHAT IF we got lost? Where would it take us?
So, we went out the doors, walked a few, turned right... saw an exit and just headed that way. Then... LOW & BEHOLD... There were two guys on Segways just.. casually rolling around and talking amoungst themselves.
We were lost. oh yes. I wanted to get to the OTHER side of the convention center where it lead out to Dean Martin drive but I didn't see that! instead Alli & I ran into oh, Nick Jonas!
I wanted to scream.. no, i don't scream. that would cause attention. My throat was dry so when I shouted, it sounded like a whisper.. NICK! He didn't hear me. Alli behind me was Freaking out in her own quiet way.."OMG! SHIT! NO! THAT CANT BE! OMG! NO! ATE! IS THAT! SHIT! OMG! ATE! ARE WE EVEN ALLOWED TO BE HERE!?" My feet kept on walking.. I took Alli's hand so she didn't run away, And we walked closer.. I Shouted "NICK! Hey! Can we have a picture with you?" He was like.. Sure! (or I think he might of said that cause.. umm... I totally forgot) So, there i was fishing out my camera... and then Alli took a pic with nick. She was sooooo shaking!
Ok, I wanted to give him this whole speech about how HE inspired me and stuff.. but within that split second.. what can i do?! My mind was soooo out of it and all i asked him was... "Do you twitter?" I was scared... Scared of getting caught. But see, no one was around when we were walking down that way, and it was just him and.. his manager? tour person? i dunno. but yeah.
.......................................> He replied: . . . "Only the Band's Twitter"
Gawd, what was i thinking. I should of told him "Oh yeah, I'm Zackoid on Twitter!" But all I said was.. "Oh, ok.." DUH JESSI!!!! HELLO! shoulda introduced yourself! maybe he would of said otherwise. But yeah.. Only the bands twitter.
So after that, we thanked him and then he rolled off into the desert sun and we were back to getting ourselves UnLost.
Alli Didn't freak out which is a good thing. I rarely ever freak out.. well, of course I do when i'm in the Car.. and away from said person. But She was cool, I was cool.
We just were walking back tracing the steps back to where we started. We went in one door, sat down.. and then looked at my camera. Since alli took the pic, i turned off the camera, stuffed it back in my purse and off we went walking back to safety.
Once we got inside, we checked out the pictures and we were in Awwwe! THANK YOU NICK! Thank You higher power up above! I umm, fell off my seat! Allison couldn't believe it. I didn't believe it! it was all a dream! No, it was real. VERY VERY REAL!
LOL, I was tweeting the entire day.. and at 1:47pm I tweeted:

That was right after we met Nick. :) Heh. Gotta love my play by play that day. I'm surprised my phone didn't die! :D
Anyways, We got back to the events center. There were already a lot of people up top by the entry way to the events center so Me and Alli stayed downstairs by the conference rooms. We did walk around where Alli saw some of her friends.
Then by 3pm, we spot Christa, Garbo, Jack & Ryan coming down the elevator to go to soundcheck. (they're part of JB's band) We Got to meet them and all. :) I really wanted to meet Garbo! :D Hes such an awesome dude!
So.. after that commotion, security kicked out the fans to move upstairs. Heh. That was fun! lol so we were just standing upstairs and alli saw her friend Julio and how he got tickets. LUCKY! The Verizon peeps were setting up their lil station right there across the way.. where you signed up to win a signed kickball from the Jonas Brothers and.. where if you did the Honor Roll, you'll be able to meet Honor Society! Hehe, I knew how to do the Honor Roll, but I wasn't all fully into it. I was just standing there. LOL!
After that contest was done, more people came filling up the areas of the event center opening. Now tell me why Mandalay bay did it like that?! ONLY ONE MAIN DOOR?! Not fair! Took like an hour to get in and another hour to leave the place! OMG! It was like Cattle being let in!
Anyhoo.. after we met The Wonder Girls (they sing the international hit.. NOBODY) we were just standing there again in hopes to get tickets. I told alli.. you know, let's check the box office. Maybe they might have some tickets there or something. So, we get in line.. and some guy (he's a high roller you can tell and from playing in the casino he gets free tickets to events) he was offering tickets to a girl but she was on her phone talking to her mum about getting the tickets.. so while the guy was waiting, I asked him.. How much are you selling them for? he said 50 bucks for two tickets. I asked again.. 50 for a pair? He said Yes! So, Since alli had kept the dinero with her, I was like.. alli, we're buying these, so she pulls out her wallet, we gave the guy 60.. and I asked him.. "do you have change for ten?" He's like.. yeah, hold on.. let me see? He gives us 6 bucks back (but his wallet was VERY VERY THICK Filled with HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS!) I was like.. HOLY SHIT! OMG! That's alot of money! I didn't say anything. he just gave us the tickets, our 6 dollars in change and said..ENJOY THE SHOW!
ANd we thanked him so much! OMG! "ALLI! WE HAVE TICKETS!" we were praying like crazy and our prayers were answered! Thank you again up above! We really didn't care where the seats were. Just that they were in the arena! LOL. They turned out to be some awesome seats! I loved it! :)
So we walked around more, alli found her friend crimille in line. She showed her NJ pic.. they freak out.. we walk around more.. then when it got closer to the doors opening we got cattled in with the rest of the crowd. Found our seats, waited..
Honor society took the stage, then The Wonder Girls did thier Hit Nobody, Then Jordin Sparks sang her songs. I LOVE Her song SOS! It's got a sample of "Let the Music Play!" OH! JOY!
Then The JONAS BROTHERS CAME ON STAGE!!!!
Btw, I always carry earplugs with me, but the venue didn't have any, i didn't have any, then i remembered i had my ipod with me and them skullcandy earbuds work PERFECTLY as earPLUGS!
So i used those THANK GAWD!
So They open with Paranoid... and Ended with Burning Up! I'm not going to give the entire rundown of the show. haha! I'm sure you can google it or simply go to JonasHQ.org to find more pics, other fans twitters and stuff like that.
Umm, but my favorite parts of the show was when the Foamed the audience! And we got foamed! I liked it when Kevin did his Guitar spins during Play My Music! I got emotional during Nick's spotlight on Black Keys with A little Bit longer and his speech he does about how he heard about the news that he got Type 1 diabetes. Umm.. I love thier version of the Neil Diamond Hit: Sweet Caroline. Trampolines, the Love bug Water Screen, When YOu look me in the eyes where the stage lifts up.. (think of it like how NSYNC did This I promise you and went into the audience during the NSA tour) and soo many other fun things happend!
I really enjoyed it! And I suggest that YOU My friends, even if you're not a jonas brothers fan to go check out thier show! it was awesome! and I'm sure you'll like it! :D
Hey, thier next stop this week is San Jose, Fresno, 3 Shows in LA, then a show in Arizona, etc. :)
You've got a chance to go see it!
So yeah, that was my day!
Peeps on twitter kept asking me... OMG! YOU SAW NICK! OMG! YOU ARE SO LUCKY! WHAT DID HE SAY, WHERE DID YOU SEE HIM! ETC ETC!
All I can say: It was a super awesome and spontaneous day!
We really didn't KNOW What to expect. And we played our day out by ear! And we had the most AWESOMEST TIME!
I love the spontenaiety of it all. You never know what's going to happen unless you JUMPED! :)
Again, I wanted to thank God above for gracing us with the opportunity and experience we'll remember for a long time. And I wanted to thank Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas for the music and the freakin most awesomest concert I've been to in a long time! :D
