MNROnline Takes over LA!

Midnight RΞD

That's Two words, 11 letters, 5 talented guys and a growing fan base of #Redheads supporters.

This is just the beginning and we're all in it for the ride. I got my ticket to the #MidnightRedMovement back in July 2011 when I attended the NKOTBSB show here in Las Vegas, NV. At first, I wasn't going to go. But a few hours ahead of time, I caved in and bought a ticket to the show. Boy, how that show has changed my life. On the previous tour dates, i noticed they had different opening acts. I usually am prepared to see whoever is opening up for the main acts, but this time around, I wasn't sure who this red midnight people were.. (Or say, Midnight Red I later Found out and have now grown to love).

Yes, I admit, once i saw the guys jump on that stage i did mumble... "Oh no.. not another boyband act!" But as their set progressed, I seriously fell in love with their dance moves, the songs, and just their raw talent! I should say, when they opened with Rockstar Lover and they can sinnnng, I was hooked! I had seats on the right side of the stage where I can see parts the backstage. It was their first show, and you can see them do the prayer huddle and patting each other on the back. And once they got off the stage, they were totally hyped! All the girls wanted to know who they were!

They then mentioned they had a twitter and introduced themselves. So, before NKOTBSB Took the stage, I went on twitter and started following them. I immediately took a liking to Colton.. Just his boyish charm and his sweet smile radiates the entire room! Thomas, he's the wild one with the bedazzled golden jacket and the crazy Mohawk! I loved that back then. So, without a word, That was totally the highlight of my evening. Of course I was singing along to all the New Kids & Backstreet Boys songs I've grown up with all my life. But really, Midnight Red took my heart away that night!

After that show, I wanted to find more information about the guys. There wasn't much of course cause they're just brand new. There was a makeshift MidnightRed.com site. I went on that daily to see if by chance anything new of the guys would pop up. I watched the EPK A few times, Two weeks later their One Club AT A Time EP was released and of course I bought that and played it to the max. But at the same time, I was interested in the songs they did in concert! I fell in love with Rockstar Lover and Body Talks, and all that was out there was videos. So I had to situate to that. Oh, after that first show, after i followed them, they followed right back. That was a nice feeling. :)

Anyways, after searching for information on these talented quintet, I found more things on what they were before: Flyte... Found some great covers of Colton and found out that Thomas and Eric were part of that show Making Menudo! But I think the main site That I kept open/bookmarked all last year was Midnightred.com. There, I got to chat with other Midnight Red fans and try to find out what their doing, if any more songs will be out and so on. Around that time, I got to talk to a few girls... Cassie, Nicole, Kailey and Stephanie from different parts of the country. They too have seen Midnight Red open up for NKOTBSB and wanted to do something for them. Start a fansite, or a street team of some sort. I wanted to do the same but didn't know where to start or what to do... So I tend to stay quiet all that time.

After the tour, Midnight Red did a few shows in Los Angeles and here in Las Vegas. I got a chance to see them preform at Krave back in September 2011. I should say tho.. I was scared to go to a gay club by myself. No one wanted to go with me! I was the lone shark! I was doing this fab adventure alone! Anyways, 2 hours leading up to the show, I kept calling my best friend Jessica who lives out in California.. I kept asking her.. "Should I go? Or should I not go? I don't know what to do!" She then told me "Just go! You never know what will happen! You might have fun! Hey, you might even get to meet the guys!" So with that, I got the courage and went by myself. Tackling new ground!

So, I saw the show. It was the same 3 song set they did on the NKOTBSB Tour: Rockstar Lover, Body Talks & One Club. I guess i was the only MNR fan there? I wasn't sure. But That saturday night, after their set, I left the club.. and once I stepped out, Low and behold, The group just left as well. This was my chance.. I had to tell them what I thought about their set, how amazing they really are and how I really want to see them succeed! So I went up to Joey.. and yeah, I played it a dumb but I asked him, "Hey, You were the guys that just preformed on stage? Midnight Red?" Then Joey said, "Yeah!" I then said.. "Cool! You guys rocked it out there! (rambling here) OH!BTW, I'm Zackoid on twitter!" Then Joey Turns to Thomas and says, "hey this is Zackoid!" Anyhoo... to make this long story short, I got to take pics with the guys, gave Colton a lucky charm, and they sang a little acapella for me. I did suggest to Eric it would be cool to hear them sing acapella more at one of their shows since they've got fabulous voices!"

After that night, I was HOOKED! I had to do something to get these boys some exposure! So.. I set to twitter and I'm sure drove a lot of people crazy (to this day) mass promoting Midnight Red!

Anywhoo, the girls in October set up MidnightRedonline.com. I LOVED what they did with the site giving all the fans updated information on the guys, mini bios as well as some concert pictures. Besides promoting @ItsMidnightRed I was showing some love & Support to MidnightRedonline. Then once the Knott's Berry Farm shows came up in February this year, they asked me to be the concert correspondent for the show. i thought, heck! Why not! I love keeping fans updated on the going ons of a show as well as what midnight red is doing! So I did that, with my cellphone dying a few times during the show.. but managed to get out pictures and a video out to MNR Fans else where. :)

A month later they asked me to join the web team (which i am thankful for the opportunity). And from there on, we continue to support and get the word out about Midnight Red!

The Idea To Take Over LA!
So, shortly after the Knott's Berry Farm show in February, I noticed on the Interscope page that Midnight Red were going to do two shows in April! it was set for the same day, but different times. i was thinking what?! that can't be. Later on they corrected it and One date was set as April 14th, A Show at Citywalk LA and then the 2nd one was at the Roxy on the 21st of April. This was at the beginning of March. I was looking at the calendar and was thinking.. Hey.. I think it'll be cool if I went to LA to see both shows! I can take the bus down there and then maybe have a mini LA Vacation then see their next show on the 21st and then go home!

So, around that time, i guess Cassie, Steph, Nicole and I were in a Tinychat talking about the new events that just popped up on the Midnight Red site. I mentioned that I was going to go to the Citywalk Show and try to do the Roxy Show! Then one faithful afternoon after some random chatting, Steph got this brilliant idea, "Hey! Why don't we all go to LA and go to the Roxy Show!" She was looking at flights and they were cheap so.. why not?! So... I was like HEY! I'M ALL IN! I'll be down there! I can stay the week and meet up with y'all! Steph wanted it to be a surprise to the guys, but i think Cassie sorta mentioned it to them. But it's all good.

So from there, We all started planning: Where we were going to stay, what are we going to see, are we renting a car, how much are we going to spend? Etc etc. Since we're all on a very tight budget we planned everything down to the last detail!!! What to do on what day, how much we have as a budget for the special gifts, etc. We found a place to stay with Cassie's friend Brad. Such an awesome guy! Thank you for letting us crash at your pad! And since my sister was at Cochella the weekend the Girls were coming, I got to use her car. Provided we took great care of it which we did. :) And then all the girls were set to come in on the 20th. Unfortunately, two of the girls from the webteam were not able to make it: Emily & Steph2.0 (@Stephlpham). They did get to talk to the guys later on in our trip. And since it was Steph's birthday, she got a lovely message from Joey.

MY Week before the Weekend
See, my Midnight Red LA Trip started the week before the others came. I went to the Citywalk Show and oh my gosh! IT WAS MADNESS! But it wasn't all sunshine and smiles for myself getting down there. The previous week, the weather was bad with rain in LA. My partner in crime Jessica was supposed to come and meet me that Friday, but since it was raining hard where she was, she wasn't able to make it. I was about to cry that Friday morning before I had to depart. I was desperate. I didn't want to leave the bus depot in LA and hop a bus to my sisters place since I didn't know the area that well.

As the day progressed tho, I managed to get in touch with my other sister Jane. She's a Godsend! She picked me up from the bus depot and from there, I got to spend time with my two sisters. And mind you, that RARELY EVER HAPPENS! Since they both live in Cali and I'm in Las Vegas, we rarely spend time with each other. Plus everyone is busy with their lives. Anyways, We did the sisterly bonding time, Then the next day I met up with my friend Keith and Lizard down at Citywalk.

Boy oh boy was that a LONG DAY! I got there around 1:30pm. there wasn't much people there yet, but there definitely was a line to get Carly Rae Jepsen's CD. By the time 3pm rolled around, we all got our wristbands to be in the VIP/front row. So we all rushed the stage and claimed our spots for front and center. By 4:30pm Carly Rae Did her soundcheck and did interviews for various media channels. Then at 5pm, Midnight Red came out and did their soundcheck as well. They sang a bit of Boyfriend and Step by Step. :) That was fun!

Then another few hours of waiting, interacting with the warm up guy and then Midnight Red took the stage at 8pm! Ok, I couldn't see it from where I was since I was up against the railing, but the ENTIRE CITYWALK Area was FILLED with People around the cinemas, the stage and even the CityFoods Food Court! IT WAS MADNESS! Everyone there to see Midnight Red and Carly Rae Jepsen!

So of course the guys started the set out with Rockstar Lover, then they went into Body Talks. Then they did a little acapella of Justin Bieber's Boyfriend, did the little introductions of all the members, follow them on Facebook & twitter, thanked NKOTBSB And then went into Step By Step. They did One Club at a Time as well. And at this point They've got the Crowd in their pretty lil hands and then they surprised us with a performance of HELL YEAH! OH MY GOSH! I LOVE THE DANCE MOVES! And yes, i have to admit, I was singing along! I couldn't help it! I love the song!

They totally Killed it that night! The guys were going to do a meet and greet after the show but since the crowd was still SUPER MASSIVE, Citywalk security said it would not be possible to do that. So, they had to stay backstage during the night.

Some of them did manage to sneak out and head over to the Hard Rock Cafe. I met a few girls at Knotts prior, Tati & Heela (@tatylemos7659 @heelapenguin). We planned on meeting at Citywalk as well. We all had a great time and that night, they wanted to meet the guys as well. I was so thrilled for them! Eric, Anthony & Colton managed to sneak by security and make it to the Hard Rock where their friends/family were, and to end the night, Tati & Heela got a group pic with Eric, Anthony & Colton! Ohhh! They were soo happy! :) YAY! I love making other fans happy and that was one moment ;)

So the night ended with Lizard, her daughter Daisy, my friend Keith and I getting our carly rae cds signed. Then it was a sad adieu! until next weekend! So with that, we all parted ways. Then that week in LA.. I took to the Metro bus, exploring all of LA on my own... One day I went down to the Grove in LA, Met Megan Hilty there. Then from there to went to Hollywood & Highland. Walked around, took in The Disney Soda Fountain, Admire the sea of tourists getting their first feel for the hands in cement at Grumman's. Then I took the hopped on the Red line down to Downtown LA. I really wanted to see AMERICAN IDIOT, So I did just that. But it was still early! So, I went down to Little Tokyo, got myself a few of those yummy cakes, then walked up that crazy 1st Street Hill to the Ahmanson theatre, chilled there, took some pics and enjoyed the night with Greenday's American Idiot! IF you LOVE Green day, You'll like this play!

Most of the week was then just chilling out and getting ready for the MNRO Webteam to get here.

Friday, April 20, 2012
This is the day! The day all the girls are going to be here! AHH! So Excited to meet them! I know they have had a strong bond since last year and I'm a newbie to the group, but I was welcomed with open arms. All the girls were totally sweet and awesome! The morning started early when I picked Cassie up from Brads. They were staying less than 10 mins from my sisters place! I was like.. WHAT?! That's close! So that wasn't a problem.

Anyways, after living in California all my life then moving to Vegas, I wasn't particularly keen on LA Traffic especially the 405. That is one freeway I tend to avoid! But to make things work and to be on our Scheduled plan for the day, I tackled the horrid traffic and Cassie and I were on our way to LAX to Pick up Steph and Nicole!

We got there in time for when their flights arrived. It was a moment to remember! Since Cassie went to meet Nicole at her terminal, I was at terminal 4 there to meet Steph! It was overwhelming seeing all of us get together and meeting for the first time. Once we all got our baggage, it was off to our next destination.. BUILD A BEAR! Oh.. before that tho, Kailey's early bus was cancelled. :( So, she didn't arrive until 5pm that day. We had to alter things around so I suggested that why not we go Get the bears now, have some lunch and then drop off our things later. Everyone agreed and it was the beginning of our LA Adventure!

So, en route to the Glendale Galleria to make some awesome bears, I got to know more about Steph, Cassie &  Nicole. I know they've got that strong bond, but they're awesome and all are unique in their different ways. I love it when Steph goes into Steph McStepherson mode talking in a weird voice.."JESSI!!!! MOVE THE FREEWAY! WE WANT TO SEE THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN!!!" I love her! (Btw, I could of easily taken you guys up that day! but i didn't want Kailey to miss out ;) Cassie and her 1000 watt smile! She's preppy and I love it! She's one of those people that can light up your day with a smile and happy thoughts! Nicole.. I like her.. She's very sarcastic ;) she's outspoken and really didn't enjoy the California weather. I guess Mother nature was on her Period when y'all were here. Well, the week before wasn't as grand as well.. my bff wasn't able to make it out! And then later, I got to meet Kailey. She's down to earth, calm and collective. I love her animal hats! It's too cute! Even before meeting the girls, everytime I pass animal hats at the mall, I always think of Kailey and Thomas. :P

Back to our adventure: So, we arrive at the mall: Glendale Galleria. We Made all the same bears, got them little white shirts which we customized later on that night. And little microphones as well. We had a stop at Target. And OMG! I cannot believe i got my butt into a pair of animal print skinny jeans! LOL! The things i do for these girls! HAHA! We were taking our sweet time looking around target and then we were starving so we headed to the food court there. Got myself some panda express. then after, we made way for Michael's in search of customizing all the bears. We got some Michael Jackson Pins for Joey's bear, Got red and black puffy paints for the shirts, got some lil jewels for thomas' bear and for the hair, I suggested using the fake fur... in black for the mohawk.. the other half of that doubled as a foxtail for Eric's bear. We were looking there as well as Toys R Us to see if they had any Doll clothing in hopes to find a varsity jacket for Colton's bear. but no luck.

So, with that, we headed back to Brad's place to drop off everyone's luggage and the bears. Cassie got a call from a friend saying that she's inviting us to go to Disneyland. We thought, hey why not! It's a once in a lifetime chance so, we decided yeah! let's go! Steph &  Nicole tho, were already tired from the traveling and wanted to get working on the bears and go grocery shopping. But we all said yes. We took two cars. I drove Steph and Nicole down to Anaheim, while Cassie and Brad picked up Kailey from the bus depot down in LA. And boy oh boy.. there it is again, LA Traffic! I really don't like it! So, i thought I'd take a little detour somewhere down the 5 fwy, but that didn't get us anywhere close. So, we just went back on the freeway to our destination. We met up with the other group around 6pmish.. everyone is together now! Cassie, Kailey, Steph, Nicole and I! Aweeee! All the girls together!

So with that, we all tackled Disneyland. We did a short little video in front of the castle, then we were off to tackle Frontierland and Adventureland! We Rode the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones. We saw part of Fantasmic. I really wanted to see Star Tours 3D, Space Mountain and Small World but we didn't have time for that. Before we hit Indy, Steph, Nicole and I were way passed tired and we wanted to get some groceries before the end of the night and hopefully work on the bears and posters! So After Indiana Jones we made our way towards main street. Took some party animal pictures in Mad Hatter, Got pics with Minnine and Pluto then we parted ways to our cars. And then it was an hour drive sanely down the 5 towards Noho. Mind you, I'm tired.. and I've been driving all day.

Brad mentioned there was a market close to where he lives, so with that, before heading to his place, We made the B-line for the Ralph's that was at the Corner of where we had to turn a left.. but instead made a right into the market. Nicole was seriously tired.. and Steph.. wow.. we're like walking zombies looking for food. Anyhoo.. we walk in, and i was lookin' for the restroom... I got a Dole Whip ice cream and a churro at Disneyland and that didn't settle. Once I did my biz, I find Steph and Nicole staring at the Milk aisles. We were trying to decide what to get.. i think it was like about 5 mins.. deciding if we want 1% or 2%, a full gallon or a half.

While deciding, I see this one guy that Looks familiar coming down the aisles our way, and just casually I shouted, "Thomas!" I did a little wave and then just the look on his face, pure shock. He then comes up to us and gives me a hug first. I think i introduced Nicole and Stephanie to Thomas. Then they got hugs from him. He was asking us what we were doing here. We told him how we just got back from Disneyland and how we're dead tired &  exhausted and hungry. Nicole &  Steph mentioned how they've been awake for more than 24 hrs now. He said that he wasn't supposed to be up this late because they had a super early wakeup call the next morning. Sound check was at 11am. So, with that, we just told him that we're excited to see them preform tomorrow and how we all flew from around the country to see them. He can't wait to see all of us tomorrow as well as the girls seeing them tomorrow.

After that, we did run into him again one last time down one aisle. Steph phone Kailey and told her and Cassie about how we ran into Thomas! I think they just got to the apartments but the booked it to the Market and when Thomas was leaving, they got to talk to him as well. :) after that, we finally (after an hour) decided what we wanted to eat, got us some spaghetti, milk, cereal, etc and called it a night.

Went back to Brads and we meticulously started working on the bears making them a little mini versions of Joey, Colton, Thomas, Anthony &  Eric. :) I Had a red beanie at my sisters place, so, I donated that for Anthony's bear. I Brought along with me all my sharpies and poster boards so we were set. We finished up all the posters and the bears and around 3am, we were all done.. only to be up 3 hours later to get ready for the day.

Saturday, April 21, 2012
We woke up earlier than expected, around 6am. I still had stuff at my sisters, so I went to her place which was only 10 mins away. I showered and got ready there so the other girls can get ready as well at Brad's. By 9:30am, I was ready &  went back to pick up the girls. We go to Starbucks for a coffee run! I needed it since I was literally still half asleep and needed a pick me up! By 10am, Cassie saw a tweet from Lizard saying that there were already people in line. So, we booked it, over the hill and down to Sunset. We got there in time and as promised, Liz did have spots saved for us. Lizard (@Sweetface35) rocks! I like her. She’s cool and just all around awesome! Anyways, it was about 10:30ish when we finally got there. We really wanted to try and catch the guys before they did their sound check.

So around 10:30am. we went around the back of the venue in hopes to see MNR before they went into sound check. They were mysteriously escorted in on the other side of the building. At first our hopes were shot. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to give the bears to them or not. While we were waiting tho, we were talking to two people who happened to be waiting for their management/promo team as well. Cassie told her about our story how we all flew in from around the country to meet each other and to see the guys preform. Then she said she’ll do whatever she can to get our bears to the guys.

So, once the guys went in, we thought we didn't have a chance. So we walked back into the line at the front of the Roxy. A few minutes later, another lady on the promo team along with the girl we were chatting with, came around and wanted to see one of the bears. She was iffy to find out what’s inside the boxes. So, instead, Cassie gave the one lonesome midnight red bear (which got signed by the guys) to the lady and then they disappeared again. 5-10 minutes later, Steve, one of the guys on the promo team comes out and asking, “where’s the girls with the bears?” And then we pipped up and said, "US!" He then says.. “Follow me!” So, We hurriedly gathered all out stuff..left our posters in line. I brought my MNR posters I got with me the week before at CityWalk and Eric’s bear. And then Steve takes us through the side door.

Ok, I should say, I was literally freaking out at this point! I didn’t know what was going to happen! I thought, ok, we’re just going to give them the bears, say Thank You, then be whisked away back in line. But what had happen: OH WOW! It’s Every FANGIRL’S DREAM!

We got to spend time with Midnight Red and Watch their sound check!

OK! I should say, I seriously (and still am) in SHOCK and really, I think it’s all a dream that we actually spent time with Midnight Red! It was just so Surreal!

Being a big boyband fan/supporter since the grand ole NKOTB Days, I’ve always dreamed of a chance to hang out with one of my favorite bands and just chill with them, get to know them, chat it up, share little tidbits about each other, and just you know.. Chill out! That and watching them do soundcheck!

That day just.. wow, It really was surreal! It’s like one of my life long dreams becoming a reality! And really, just being there with the four greatest girls around and the five most awesomest guys around was just amazing!

I really didn’t know what to say or do! I know i was just sitting there. I’m your Typical quiet &  shy person in a big group of people. But trust me, I had so many questions and comments I wanted to share with Colton, Thomas, Eric, Joey & Anthony! But, I really was just in the moment.

And truth be told, I wanted the Cassie, Steph, Kailey & Nicole to have THEIR Moment with Midnight Red. I’ve met them a few times before, and I’ve had my moment. I really wanted to share this fabulous experience with them and for the girls to see how really awesome, humble and down to earth the guys really are.

You don’t find many groups that are willing to spend time with their fans and get to know them. They did just that and that’s what I love about them. They Love their fans. Us Redheads will be behind them 110% from now and to infinity and beyond! I know for a fact that I’ll be behind whatever they do as well as individual projects down the line in the future.

Anyways, during the little sit down, we were asking Eric about what happened to his foxtail. he said it wasn’t GQ enough (or something to that extent) So now he sports a Whip. What else, I remember showing Joey and Thomas my Midnight Red wallet I created out of duck tape. They thought it was cool and they still have theirs i’m guessing.

Steph was in her little corner with Joey and Eric chatting it up. Thomas was sitting between tables talking with all the girls. And Colton was there as well talking with Cassie, Steph and Kailey. I was there as well as part of the bunch but it just seemed surreal like it was a dream.

The guys also introduced us to their bodyguard. Everything was coming to a close.. and the guys were getting ready to do sound check. Security at the venue was trying to clear the tables and the vip area, trying to get everything set up for the event that afternoon. So they were telling people who didn't have wristbands to leave the vip area and to keep it clear. We were just standing there by the stage where Steve was telling us, "You girls are fine. You can watch them do sound check." So it was Midnight Red’s turn up on the stage checking the mikes, making sure all the levels were adjusted and right and there’s no feedback. They did run through Hell Yeah! and of course us girls broke into song while they were rehearsing up on stage. They were getting the feel for the stage and all that good stuff. Then after a few minutes, it was time for us to go. We were then escorted out the door back to the front of the venue to wait in line.

We thanked the guys of Midnight Red and their promotional staff for an unbelievable experience! And the thank yous didn't stop there!

Around 12:30, the line started to get longer at the front of the venue. We claimed our spots again. Cassie and Kailey had to pick up their tickets at will call while the other girls were in line ready to take on the afternoon. Once the doors started opening the girls ran for the front of the stage and claimed our spots. We were all soooo excited for this!!!

The concert itself is Uneeqability Live! The site uneeqability.com is mainly a site to promote new and up coming artists. but it’s so much more than that! It’s a message that inspires young people to go after their dreams and an idea that gives people motivation. to ask “What makes you Uneeq?” It’s a fabulous site! Go Check it out!

BEFORE Midnight Red Preformed, a few new performers took the stage. There was the Roller dance team from ABDC that took the Floor showing off their skills. Then Brandon & Savannah Took the Stage. I saw them previously when Midnight Red was at Knotts! Check them out! they’re awesome as well! Next up was Caleb. @OfficialCaleb. He did a fantastic job singing. After him, Max Schneider from Nickelodeon’s How To Rock took the stage. He’s quite talented! Great rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Then Corey Gray took the stage. I found a video online where he did his own acoustic cover of One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful and it’s AMAZING!! Google/YouTube him! You won’t be disappointed!

After Corey Gray, the curtains went down and the stage was being reset! The Crowd was going wild chanting MIDNIGHT RED! MIDNIGHT RED! MIDNIGHT RED!

THIS Was the moment we were all waiting for! MIDNIGHT RED! MIDNIGHT RED!

Before the Curtains went up, You hear the start of the set: "CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE, CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE, EVERYBODY'S WAITING FOR THE CLOCK STRIKES TWELVE!" Midnight Red's Back is to the Audience and they started the set off with ROCKSTAR LOVER and then they went into Body Talks, One Club at a Time And then Ending with HELL YEAH!

Midnight Red Took to the crowd and got everyone pumped up! There was so much interaction with the crowd I guess if you watched our videos, you’d see them ham it up on a few of our cameras! It was classic! Anthony took off his shirt after Hell Yeah, Thomas Liked our #RalphsBuddies Sign, Colton Sang into my camera a few times, Joey took Steph's camera and was Spinning round and round on stage with it, slightly crashing into Colton, Thomas, he was fierce as always, Eric serenaded Kailey during one song. All in all Midnight Red gave it their all. The audience gladly took it!

So after Midnight Red’s set, Jasmine Villegas preformed, Rachel Crow and then Leon Thomas III closed the show. All in all, it was a fun show! A lot of Nickelodeon and Disney starts were milling around. (I wouldn't know who was who! Well, i knew who that one guy from Shake It Up was, but I just let them be)

After that, Midnight Red did a Meet & Greet outside the Roxy. They signed some posters for those that bought it as well as other things. All the girls went up first. Steve was asking where everyone was from and their names. It was very personal. All the girls got their posters signed and took a group picture individually with all the guys. Since they already signed my poster inside earlier in the day, I had some pictures with me. I got the group pic with me and my friend Jessica signed as well as a picture of them in Paris (Which is my favorite picture by far of the guys!)

While waiting to get all the guys to sign the pics, Joey was the first one closest to the line, he was curious to see what was in my photo envelope. On it, it said “JESSIZ MNR PIX” So, previously, I wanted to get pictures signed for the MNRonline girls when I went to Knotts. I Printed out all the fabulous pictures and then brought them with me. At the time (at Knotts) I only got like 4 pictures signed for the Rockstar Lovers girls and My Friends in Europe. I made extras so I can get them signed for other people as well, you know, just in case! So, while waiting for the others, I take out all the pics, Show them the pictures we took together from Las Vegas, the first time I met them, and then within the mix, there was pix of the guys, and two of The Wanted (i did see them last month) and then, skip a few pictures and a group picture with the Chippendales pops up!! I felt soo embarrassed! but Thomas Saw that and noticed that Jeff Timmons of 98 degrees was in the group picture. And then, there was a pic in there that my friend Keith gave me of Colton, it was an old school picture from somewhere, I don’t know where he found it, but They were looking thru all the pics and were just, intrigued. Anyways, to move the line, we finally got to take a group picture. I looked decent for a change! YAY! I love it! They’re sweet and awesome guys, totally Down To earth! I each gave them a hug and thanked them yet again for the wonderful experience. And I'll say it again, Seriously, totally surreal!

Anyways, The girls wanted to see if the guys would want to go to In-n-Out with us. It would of been cool but they had other things to attend to. After the Signing, they did Sing a little of Justin Bieber’s Boyfriend for the cameras that were there. Impromptu Acapella session! Which I TOTALLY LOVE!! They can sing to me anytime!

So with the last fan, they were off to say their goodbyes. They all gave us one last Hug and THANKED us for coming! Ahhh.. I’m telling you! They all give good hugs and yes, they do smell good.

While they were leaving in their van, You can still see all the love they were sending our way, thru the windows you can see em sending the Heart signs, One LOVE! So Cool!

Again, and I won’t stop saying this, but THANK YOU MIDNIGHT RED For One fantastic day! I really don’t know where I’d be without you guys! The Music rocks yes! But just the feeling of being accepted &  acknowledge was very overwhelming. Also the fact that you brought 5 strangers together where we created this special bond. It's unlike any other.

The night was not over yet! (Are you kidding me?!) HA! NO SLEEP TIL BROOKLYN!

We then met up with Lizard &  her daughter Daisy at In-N-Out. The East coast girls finally had a taste of the tasty California Burgers &  Fries. (For some odd reason, my fries were kinda dry..but we’re not mentioning that) We took a pic at In n out and parted ways with Liz. Then it was off to tackle on Hollywood &  Highland! The girls were enjoying themselves taking in all the sights of The Grauman’s Theater, The Hollywood Walk Of Fame and enjoying a little treat at Disney’s Ice Cream &  Soda Fountain/El Capitan! We Got to take a pic at the Grand staircase in front of the Kodak Theater and just took in all the sights Hollywood had to offer. We then called it a night and headed home. Everyone wanted to play Rockband.. I was just totally dead tired and just enjoyed watching them take on the game. That was the end to an EVENTFUL Saturday!

Sunday was our Funday! We were supposed to see the Hollywood sign together, but with some miss communication, that got out of our control. So instead we went to Santa Monica. We had two cars. I Drove With Steph &  Kailey while Brad, Cassie &  Nicole were in the other car. I did take Steph &  Kailey up to the sign. but felt bad/sad that Cassie, Nicole &  Brad wasn't there. Thing is.. I didn't know the street names of where to turn not until I GOT there. It's been a few years since I've been up to the sign. I'm a visual learner.. So, by the time we got up to Barham &  Lake Hollywood, the other group were down the mountain by the Observatory. This was the only way I know of when it comes to the Hollywood Sign view. I know there was another way from the street, but haven't gone down that way. Anyways, with that shot, we just planned on making it to Santa Monica. We'll meet at the Pier.

With that, I took the scenic route. I took the sides streets from Hollywood on down to Santa Monica. Passed Amoeba records, The Archlight, Jim Henson Studios, And fell upon High Voltage Tattoo since Kailey really wanted to see the place. Stopped for a few minutes taking pictures of the backside, and Pics at the front. At that point too, I totally freaked out cause I saw Justin Bieber's Bodyguard just chillin in the barbershop next door to the tattoo place. I don't know why, but I got extremely excited. We then went in, and I casually & politely asked Kenny for a picture. He's so nice. yeah, Justin bieber wasn't there but that's ok. He was at home and I guess later that day they were flying to London for Promotion of Bieber's Music Video &  Album. After we took the pic and walked away from the Trendsetter Barbershop, Oh, Jessi Did a little happy dance. I fangirled a little. ;) it was one of those spontaneous moments.

So continuing on our little adventure, We went down Santa Monica, Passing by Beverly Hills, Century City and Headed into Santa Monica. We Meet up with Brad, Cassie and Nicole at the Pier. We walked around, down to the end of the pier and back. Then we rode the Fabulous Ferris Wheel! Cassie and Brad tackled the roller coaster and another crazy tilt ride. I should say tho, I love the Ferris Wheel. But with 6 people crammed in there, It was a lil claustrophobic! While waiting for Brad &  Cassie to get depart the rollercoaster, Steph, Kailey, Nicole and I Tried to take one of those Photobooth pictures. OH NO BUENO! We were crammed like sardines! We tried it again inside the arcade there with 5 people now Cassie joining the group. And the pictures turned out decent! (would like to get a copy soon) After that we had some Corn dogs at Hot Dog On a Stick. Then we went to 3rd Street Promenade and met up with Steph’s friend Cody. It was getting late but we still wanted to try and see if we can get a chance to see the Hollywood Sign, so we attempted that again going up and down the mountain.

Unfortunately, it was seriously overcast and the clouds were covering the Hollywood sign. Steph and Nicole were like, "JESSI! MOVE THE CLOUDS! WE NEED TO SEE THE SIGN!!!" I felt bad :( I wish we did get to see the sign Friday afternoon and that Sunday morning but things weren’t going our way. We did take a cute picture with a rock that said "I Miss you!" Joke behind this: Thomas tweeted on two different occasions: "I want to write "I miss you" on a rock and throw it at your face so you know how much it hurts to miss you." So With that, we took a pic of a rock. :P Classic!

After that, We were going home back to Brads and Kailey, Nicole and Myself made a home cooked meal at my sister’s place since brad’s oven wasn’t functioning. Some spaghetti, garlic bread, cheesecake as desert. It was the last night to be bonding with the girls. We watched the Muppets Movie and then we were off to bed not really ready to depart the city of angels.

It was a somber morning. It's sad to see everyone go. It was not a goodbye but a See you real soon! I took Cassie to the Flyway in Van Nuys. And we bid adieu to Steph &  Nicole.

Kailey & I returned my sister’s car to her apartment, locked it up and we were on our bus filled adventure to the Metro Red line then thru the streets of downtown LA.

After a long ride from LA to Vegas we sadly parted ways. I got to meet Kailey's Mum, Mama Red! She’s cool And then we went our separate ways. It has an eventful weekend! I’m so happy the girls got to meet MIDNIGHT RED and how we all bonded.

My mantra in life is to make other people happy. I enjoyed spending the time with Cassie, Stephanie, Nicole &  Kailey. Just seeing their eyes light up whenever they saw something new, That brings a smile to my face and warms my heart. This experience we had on Saturday was way beyond what I expected. I wanted to thank Midnight Red's Promo/Management For letting us spend some time with the guys. That will forever be a moment we will never forget. Also wanted to thank the girls for taking in a newbie and welcoming me into your sisterhood.

Lastly a special thank you to Thomas, Colton, Joey, Eric &  Anthony. Thank you for bring us all together. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have found some awesome friends to share this joy with. I wish you all the best in your career! Your army of #Redheads are ready to make the #MidnightRedMovement Happen! Let's take HELL YEAH To the top! And I cannot wait to see where this year will lead you guys to!
